Labas, my name is Ruta Stalmokaite!
I'm an aspiring artist from Lithuania and a recent illustration and animation graduate. I graduated from Cambridge School of Art (ARU) with First Class Honours.
Since then I've submitted my graduation film to numerous festivals and received a nomination for The Best Animation Short from Rome Prisma Awards.
I enjoy creating playful and unique artwork whether it moves or not. Spreading the word about Lithuanian culture is one of my passions. Therefore, I try to incorporate various elements of it in my art - from traditional ornaments and language to history.
